Socialization and Higher Learning

In the film Higher Learning, thither were various youngsters from different cordial back grounds, as surface as different countries and races. They solely att set asideed Columbus University where they both encountered their own share of problems. roughly of these implicated financial issues, self-doubt, versed/ nonsexual harassment, and lastly individualized safety. All these assimilators were forced to meld with one another and got caught up in complications. Hence all of the problems that arise throughout the film, there are also a great deal of themes dedicate in the photograph as well. Some of the many themes include pedagogy, family, socialization, diversification, and social environment. \nEducation was in my opinion the biggest theme in the film. After watching the movie in full when I came home from school I came to the conclusion that development compete a significant role. You axiom the theme of education foreshadowed in the beginning of the film and how it meant something big in the end. At the number one of the movie one of the gabardine female students named Kristen walks into an ski tow where she runs into an African American male student named Malik. While in the elevator Kristen instinctively clutches her pocket edition tighter since she saw the presence of a black male. By the end of the film and after the students dealt with their ain experiences they were able to talk to each other after a campus tragedy. While Kristen didnt come back the incident in the elevator, Malik did that life went on and it asked a question of why else would a campus exist, except for learning and education? Another example of education in the film was when Malik goes to a political science phase thinking he is fall in than everyone else because he had a fall into place scholarship.
